Spotify is a streaming service that allows you to listen to music without having to pay, but the artists will still get payed. You must buy a Premium account if you want to get rid of the ads, though.
Spotify is not yet open to use in every country.

If you want to put your own albums and singles onto Spotify, there may be some troubles. It's not as simple as uploading stuff to Soundcloud, and it will most definitely cost a few bucks. There are a couple of services that helps you get your music on Spotify:
